The family favorite Artis Royal Zoo is the second most popular attraction in Amsterdam, and justly so: as one of the oldest zoos in Europe, Artis combines monumental architecture with an immense diversity of species, from apes, bears and lions to the the tiniest insects in the Insectarium.
